John Deere rapid transit systems (more commonly known as ag and centrifugal pumps) can drain ditches, dry out gulches and transport liquid herbicides and chemicals fast. Three models with 8,400 to 9,600 gallons-er-hour capacity. Ag pumps (MDLS 235 AP & 250 AP) have fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic housing with EPDM seals for chemical applications, and a 25-foot suction lift. Centrifugal pump (MDL 235 CP) has sand-cast housing and 28-foot suction lift. It can pass sperical solids up to 1/2-inch diameter.

For the lawn maintenance pro -- or anyone who wants to give his yard a professionally manicured look, John Deere offers the power of two backpack blowers.

The BP40 has maximum air velocity of 180 mph and air volume of 404 cfm measured at the tube.

The new BP50 (above) has tube-mounted fingertip controls, 185-mph air velocity and 470-cfm air volume.

An air jet on each model pulls air over the operator's back to help keep him cool.

For handheld convenience in a homeowner blower, the BH30 weighs less than 11 pounds and generates air velocity of 180 mph. a vacuum kit is available.
